Meet the Artist

Micah A. Cuva is an accomplished freelance artist based in the historic fishing town of Monterey, California. Drawing inspiration from the rugged coastline and rich maritime history of his hometown, Micah's artistic endeavors extend beyond photography to encompass digital art, traditional painting, and charcoal sketches.

While pursuing a degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology at UC Santa Cruz, Micah developed a deep reverence for the intricate beauty and interconnectedness of the natural world. Influenced by literary greats like John Steinbeck and naturalists such as Alexander von Humboldt, Micah's artistry is imbued with a profound appreciation for coastal life and ecological harmony.
